Kildare County Council, on behalf of GMC Utilities Group TLD., gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that will close the following road on Wednesday, 24 June 2026 to Wednesday, 5 August 2026 to facilitate works on behalf of Uisce Éireann.

Alternative Routes: Traffic approaching from the east is stopped at junction R415/L70055 Derrymullen. Traffic proceeds south on the R415 to Lowtown, turns right (west) at Lowtown Bridge, follows Lowtown Road west through Robins Cross and Ballyteague/Allenwood Centre, turns right (north) past Ballyteague Stables and Woodview Nurseries, re-joining the L70055 Derrymullen at the western end of the closure. Estimated diversion: 4.7 km/8 minutes. Full signage layout on site. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
