
Local Community Safety Plan
The Kildare Local Community Safety Partnership (LCSP) is responsible for the preparation of a Local Community Safety Plan for County Kildare, in accordance with the Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2024.
The Plan will identify key community safety priorities and set out actions to support safer, inclusive and resilient communities across the county. It will be informed by evidence, consultation and collaboration with communities, statutory agencies and other stakeholders.
Public Consultation
Kildare County Council and the Kildare LCSP are committed to meaningful public engagement as part of the development of the Community Safety Plan.
At appropriate stages in the process, members of the public, community and voluntary organisations, and other stakeholders will be invited to make submissions and observations on the development of the Plan.
Details of public consultations will be published on this page and on the Kildare County Council website, as relevant.
Data Protection
Submissions made to public consultations will be processed in accordance with Data Protection legislation. Information on how personal data is collected, used and retained will be provided at the time of consultation.
Updates and Publication
This page will be updated on an ongoing basis and will include:
- public consultation notices and outcomes
- the final adopted Local Community Safety Plan, once approved by the Partnership.
