Celbridge Active Travel Bridge

Please note that site investigation works will commence on 15^th November 2023 in the vicinity of Celbridge Bridge. The works consist of ground investigation works which are required in order to progress the detailed design phase of the Celbridge Active Travel Bridge Scheme. Excavations will take place within the footpaths during the 15^th, 16^th and 17^th of November. Further excavations in the roadway will commence on the evening of 20^th November and will be carried out during the night in order to minimise disruption to traffic in the area. It is anticipated that the works will take 2 weeks to complete. Kildare County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused but are delighted to be progressing this active travel project.
