Kildare Short Grass Films
Kildare Short Grass Films is the flagship film development programme of Kildare County Council Arts Service, supporting the creation of new film work in and from County Kildare. Established over fifteen years ago, the programme has built a strong track record in supporting filmmakers at all stages of their careers, from emerging talent to established practitioners, across a range of genres including short film, documentary and animation.
The programme aims to nurture film talent locally, provide early-stage investment and professional support, and encourage filmmaking activity within the county, while contributing to a sustainable film ecology and increasing the visibility of Kildare as a place for film production and storytelling.
