Climate Leadership - 7th, 14th & 21 November 2024
In collaboration with Friends Of the Earth, No Planet B, a Naas based youth environmental club, will run a free short Climate Leadership course for Transition Year students. This is to tie in with the upcoming National election and will be conducted over 3 two-hour sessions in Naas library, Thursday 7th, 14th & 21 November 2024.
Students will learn about:
- Climate Change: with a focus on effective climate action (in collaboration with Friends Of The Earth).
- Political Engagement: how to best influence change through email campaigns and interviewing local politicians.
- Using Social Media for Good: Creating awareness and driving the climate agenda in the upcoming election through social media.
