Film History Screening

Screening on Friday August 8^th is a Charlie Chaplin masterpiece from 1940.

After several decades as the pre-eminent silent comic of Hollywood, Chaplin used the medium of the talking picture to deliver this scathingly satirical black comedy, a film that would become his most successful, and controversial, of his legendary career.
