Ireland Reads Event: Make your own Nature Journal
Hapa Zome is a Japanese term meaning leaf-dye. It is a form of eco printing that involves transferring the colours and shapes of plant material onto fabric or paper by pounding with a hammer.
In this workshop we will use foraged plants and flowers to create botanical prints on fabric. This print will then be used as the cover for our nature journal.
A perfect introduction to the magical art of textile printing.
