Junior Chess Tournament
Naas Library is delighted to host our Summer Chess Tournament. The tournament will be a six-round Swiss tournament with a 10 + 0 time control.
The format of the tournament will be fully explained to all players before Round One. Chess clocks will be used and there will be a demonstration on the operation of the clocks before the tournament begins. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Swiss ranks will decide tied players.
All participants must know the full rules of chess. We will try our best to accommodate late comers but addition to tournament after Round One has begun will be at the discretion of the arbiter.
