Maynooth Unearthed Workshop for adults with Artist Rachel Sweeney
MAYNOOTH UNEARTHED is a series of free creative mapping workshops that take a positive approach to local climate-led initiatives, with a focus on Maynooth’s decarbonization strategy.
Facilitated by Creative Collaborator Rachel Sweeney, these workshops will introduce participants to new ways to re-think our relationship to our local environment through a participative and inclusive approach that introduces playful and practical ways to help us re-imagine our town’s transport infrastructure. She is currently Creative Collaborator for the Co-Creative Lab project which is a collaboration between Kildare County Council Climate Team and Maynooth University.
The Co-Creative Lab is a recipient of the Creative Climate Action fund, an initiative from the Creative Ireland Programme. It is funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media in collaboration with the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications.
