National Public Libraries Open Day @ Kildare Town Library! Basic Alterations Workshop with ‘Change Clothes’
As part of Sustainable Development Goals week at Kildare Libraries and to celebrate all that is available at your Local Public Library, learn simple sewing skills to extend the life of your clothes! In just a couple of hours, you’ll discover how to hem, repair, and adjust garments so they fit and feel better.
Taking place during SDG Week, this workshop supports Goal 11: Sustainable Cities & Communities, Goal 12: Responsible Consumption & Production and Goal 13: Climate Action - proving that small stitches can make a big impact!
‘Change Clothes’ is a registered not-for-profit CLG on a mission to prevent textile waste at its source, tackling the problem locally before it becomes a global issue.
