Naas Library & Cultural Centre is proud to present an exclusive pre-release celebration of author Wayne Byrne's highly anticipated and critically acclaimed new book on the legendary Halloween film franchise: You Can't Kill the Boogeyman: The Ongoing Halloween Saga - 13 Films and Counting.
Wayne has amassed a considerable body of work writing books on film and music culture, which includes tomes on the Nightmare on Elm Street horror series as well as biographies of eminent filmmakers such as Walter Hill, Burt Reynolds, and Tom DiCillo, among many others. Here, Wayne goes behind the scenes with cast and crew to document the making of the films and to consider what makes Halloween an enduring and increasingly popular franchise.
