Newbridge Library Reopens at New, Temporary Location

Kildare County Council Announces Re-Opening of Newbridge Library at Temporary Liffey Lodge Location

Kildare County Council’s Library Service is delighted to announce that Newbridge Library has reopened at its temporary location in Liffey Lodge, Naas Road, Newbridge (W12 CP82).

The temporary relocation will allow works to commence on the new library building at the original site, ensuring improved facilities for the community in the years ahead.

The Newbridge Library team is excited to welcome back all members of the community, including school groups, regular visitors and new members, to the new temporary space.

Most services remain available at the temporary location, including access to public computers, printing and photocopying, along with our full lending collections of books, DVDs and games.

Due to the building’s smaller size, there are no dedicated study spaces at present. Kildare Library Service remains committed to providing a welcoming, accessible and enjoyable library experience for all users.

More information, including opening hours and branch contact details, can be found on the Newbridge web page.
