Chroma Lance (2019) by Katy Palmieri-Seddiq is a vibrant public artwork located in Newbridge, overlooking the River Liffey. Commissioned through the Per Cent for Art Scheme associated with Kildare County Council’s Towards Carbon Neutral housing initiative, the work consists of four cast-concrete tree forms decorated with richly coloured mosaic tiles. Created by Palmieri-Seddiq with assistance from Karim Seddiq and Michael Higginbotham, the sculpture celebrates creativity, environmental awareness and community identity.
