Kildare County Council gives notice on behalf of Roadstone, that in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, that it will be closing the following road:
The R418 from Fontstown Upper to Rathsillagh Upper.
From Tuesday 4th June to Friday 14th June, 2024, between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00.
the closure is to facilitate road maintenance works on this route.
Southbound traffic travelling on the R418 turn left onto the R415, Fontstown Crossroads. Proceed along the R415 to its junction with the R448 at Crookstown. Turn right onto the R448 and proceed to its junction with the R747, Athy. Turn right and proceed over the motorway onto the N78 and into the Athy Road Roundabout.
Traffic travelling North towards Kilcullen divert right at roundabout along the N78 and proceed over the motorway onto the R747 to its junction with the R448. Turn left onto R448 to its junction with R415, Crookstown, turn left. Proceed along the R415 to its junction with R418, Fontstown.
