Glas Civil Engineering Ltd are continuing works on the Royal Canal Greenway scheme from Louisa Bridge, Leixlip to Maynooth Harbour.
As part of this scheme, the following works are ongoing:
• Section of the towpath/greenway from Maynooth Harbour to the R406 Straffan Road, Maynooth will be closed for upgrade works from the 22 July 2024 for a number of weeks.
• Section of the towpath/greenway from R406 Straffan Road, Maynooth to Pike Bridge remains closed for upgrade works.
• Upgrade works are continuing on the R406 Straffan Road at Mullen Bridge in Maynooth. Traffic management continues to be in place for these works.
• Section of the towpath/greenway from Deey Bridge to Louisa Bridge, Leixlip remains closed for upgrade works.
