Glas Civil Engineering Ltd are continuing works on the Royal Canal Greenway scheme from Louisa Bridge, Leixlip to Maynooth Harbour.
As part of this scheme, the following works are ongoing:
- Section of the towpath/greenway from Maynooth Harbour to the R406 Straffan Road, Maynooth remains closed for upgrade works.
- Section of the towpath/greenway from R406 Straffan Road, Maynooth to Pike Bridge remains closed for upgrade works.
- Section of the towpath/greenway from Deey Bridge to Louisa Bridge, Leixlip remains closed for upgrade works.
- In addition, upgrade works will be continuing the R148 Road between Pike Bridge and Deey Bridge. Various traffic management layouts will be periodically in place for these works.
