Rina Whyte

Rina Whyte is the Public Art Co-ordinator with Kildare County Council Arts Service. Her work involves the management of Public Art and Per Cent for Art Projects, Policy Development and Public Engagement. 'The Hidden Wonders of Kildare', 'Transitopia', ‘The Amazing Tale of the Fabulous Green Cat’ and 'Sphishing' are just some of the recent projects that Rina really enjoyed working on. In 2010, Rina hopes to work on innovative Public Art projects involving architecture, community engagement and critical debate as well as mapping the existing repertoire of Public Art on Kildare County Council's GIS Mapping system.

A graduate of The National College of Art and Design, Rina worked in the field of research and design following her degree before moving into the area of design and project management with Dublin Tourism, Enterprise IG, Bradley McGurk Partnership and The Institute of Designers in Ireland.
