This piece by O’Callaghan is part realism and part fantasy. Clearly recognisable on the left of the composition is male figure, while the background is more like a surrealist painting or the set of some science fiction film, with what look like circuit boards. The background composition is laid out with an unusual use of perspective adding to the fantasy feeling.
