Dance artist Ailish Claffey has been awarded an Artist in Residence at the beautiful setting of the ACRE Project, Celbridge Co. Over the last two decades she has worked with diverse groups within the community developing her co-creative and Dance for Health practice.  Exploring the complexity of human relationship and examining the lived experience of those she works with lie at the heart of Ailish’s choreographic work.  Ailish is currently exploring the use of scored work in a desire to move away from creating written work.  She has been supported by a Dance Bursary Award from Arts Council, Ireland and the ALAAO/Arts Council Platform31 Award for Kildare 2022.

The residency is supported by Kildare County Council Arts Service's Arts, Health and Wellbeing programme and the Arts Council.
