Digital Folklore, Stories and Mapping online programme (March/April 2022)

Artist and folklorist Michael Fortune will facilitate a new Digital Folklore, Stories and Mapping Programme again in March/April this year. This programme is an extension of the suitable for those who have attended the Digital Folklore and Stories - Capturing the Ordinary workshop series in 2021. 

About the Digital Folklore, Stories and Mapping Programme

Michael will deliver another 8 session programme which looks at the use of digital technology in the area of Digital Folklore, Stories and Mapping. The sessions will involve digital upskilling and learning and these new skills applied via weekly group tasks. These new sessions will address computer based video editing (not phones/tablets), field and placename recording, digital mapping and design as well as audio/podcast recording and sharing. The sessions will also cover digital design and marketing in relation to project work.

  • Monday 4th April
  • Friday 8th April

 

Workshop times: 10am - 12pm 

Sessions will be delivered via ZOOM and group work shared via WhatsApp.
