AboutFaoi
Kildare Readers’ Festival, running since 2010, is an annual celebration of writers and the art of writing which showcases and supports both established and emerging authors across all genres with entertaining, exciting, and accessible events.
Kildare Readers’ Festival takes place every October with most events taking place in the Riverbank Arts Centre in Newbridge along with some of our Kildare library branches. The programmes include authors in conversation, panel discussions, book launches and writing workshops.
Is ceiliúradh bliantúil í Féile Léitheoirí Chill Dara, atá á reáchtáil ó 2010 i leith, ar scríbhneoirí agus ar ealaín na scríbhneoireachta a léiríonn agus a thacaíonn le húdair sheanbhunaithe agus le húdair atá ag teacht chun cinn i ngach seánra le himeachtaí siamsúla, spreagúla agus inrochtana.
Bíonn Féile Léitheoirí Chill Dara ar siúl gach Deireadh Fómhair agus is in Ionad Ealaíon Bhruach na hAbhann sa Droichead Nua a bhíonn formhór na n-imeachtaí chomh maith le roinnt dár leabharlanna i gCill Dara. Cuimsíonn an clár údair i mbun comhrá, díospóireachtaí painéil, seoltaí leabhar agus ceardlanna scríbhneoireachta.

Ernie's @ Shackleton Experience
We're absolutely delighted to be bringing Ernie's @ Shackleton Experience to this year's Kildare Readers' Festival.
Books and great food have always had a way of bringing people together, and we can't wait to be part of a festival that celebrates stories, conversation and community. We'll be serving a menu inspired by traditional Irish Food with some modern twists, all with a focus on local ingredients. We look forward to welcoming readers, writers and visitors throughout the festival!
