“Dragonfly”

In this work by James McCreary just a few lines to set a scene. Compositionally and thematically it is similar to traditional Chinese ink and wash painting. These Chinese paintings follow one of the longest continuous traditions in world art. It uses the same techniques as calligraphy using just a brush and ink.
