Proposed Traffic Calming Measures Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994
In accordance with the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, Kildare County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to implement the:
Permanent closure to vehicular traffic of the vehicular ramp in Sallins at the R407 junction with Church Avenue to remove a conflict collision zone between vulnerable road users and motorised vehicles, and to improve the public realm at this location in line with the Sallins Local Area Plan.
The closure is supported by national, regional and local policies and in accordance with the principles of Universal Design to provide improvements for all people using the public realm.
Drawings showing the proposed works will be available for inspection at the following locations from Tuesday, 11 June 2024 to Wednesday, 10 July 2024
