Kildare County Council gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it will close the following road during week nights from Monday, 25 March 2024 to Friday, 05 April 2024 inclusive, to facilitate road works as part of the Kilcullen Road Active Travel Scheme.

Alternative Routes: Outbound traffic from Main Street, Naas accessing the Ballymore Road Junction. Should continue travelling south along the R448 Kilcullen Road. At the Kilcullen Road Roundabout, turn left onto the L3013 South Ring Road. Continue along the South Ring Road to the Ballymore Road Roundabout. At the Ballymore Road Roundabout, turn left for the R411 Town Centre exit. Inbound traffic from the Kilcullen Road accessing Main Street, Naas. Should take the L3013 South Ring Road exit in the Newbridge direction at the Kilcullen Road Roundabout. Continue along the South Ring Road to the junction with the R445 Newbridge Road. Turn right onto the R445 Newbridge Road and proceed along this road until it meets the Main Street / Kilcullen Road Junction at Murtagh’s Corner. Inbound traffic from the Kilcullen Road roundabout accessing the Ballymore Road Junction. Should take the L3013 South Ring Road exit in the Blessington direction at the Kilcullen Road Roundabout and proceed along this road. At the Ballymore Road Roundabout, turn left for the R411 Town Centre exit. Inbound traffic from the Ballymore Road Roundabout accessing north Kilcullen Road or Main Street, Naas. Should take the L3013 South Ring Road exit in the Newbridge direction at the Ballymore Roundabout and proceed along this road. At the junction with the R445 Newbridge Road, turn right and proceed along this road until it meets the Main Street / Kilcullen Road Junction at Murtagh’s Corner. |
Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
