In pursuance of the provisions of Section 20 of the Finance (Local Property Tax) Act 2012 (as amended), at a meeting of Kildare County Council on Monday, 23 September 2024 a resolution was passed to the effect that the basic rate of Local Property Tax should stand varied upwards by ten per cent (10%) for the year Friday, 01 November 2024 to Wednesday, 31 December 2025 in respect of relevant residential properties situated in the local authority’s administrative area.
