Kildare County Council, on behalf of David Walsh Civil Engineering, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it will close the following road on Friday, 11 October 2024 to facilitate Public Realm works on Emily Square and Offaly Steet.

Alternative Routes: Diversion for northbound traffic will be via Barrow Quay and Duke Street. Diversion for southbound traffic will be via the R78 Leinster Street and Church Road. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
