Extension of Temporary Road Closure
Notice is hereby given of the decision of Kildare County Council to extend the duration of the closure as detailed below of the following roads in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994:

Road Closure extended to Thursday, 10 October 2024 (Phase 1) and Saturday, 30 November 2024 (Phase 2).
The closure is required to facilitate utility installation associated with the Shackleton Museum Project.
Alternative Routes:
Diversion for northbound traffic will be via Barrow Quay and Duke Street.
Diversion for southbound traffic will be via the R78 Leinster Street and Church Road.
