BHIS Historic Thatch Buildings Stream and Historic Structures Fund Grants 2025
Kildare County Council in conjunction with the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage is inviting applications for both the Historical Structures Fund 2025 (HSF) and the BHIS Historic Thatched Building (HTB) scheme 2025. Along with the Built Heritage Investment Scheme, these two schemes represent the NBHS’s primary capital grant supports for historic buildings through the local authority sector. Schemes operate on a match funding basis.
Built Heritage Investment Scheme Historic Thatched Buildings Stream 2025

Historic Structures Fund 2025
Grants from €50,000 to €200,000 for larger enhancement or significant refurbishment projects involving historic structures, where a clear community or public benefit is demonstrated.
