Kildare County Council, on behalf of Coras Pipeline Services Ltd., gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road on Monday, 16 June 2025 to Friday, 8 August 2025 to facilitate ESB ducting for Pickering Forest 38kV Solar Farm.

Alternative routes: |
Via; 1. R405 – R403 - R406 – L5065 2. R403 – R406 – L5065 Northbound traffic travelling on the R449 should continue straight until the junction with R405 and turn right. Continue until the junction with Main Street and turn right. Continue along the R405/R403 Clane Road until the junction with R449. Traffic should turn left at this point and continue until the roundabout and take the last exit and continue along the R406 until the right turn for the L5065. Southbound traffic travelling on the R449 should continue until the roundabout and take the last exit and continue along the R406 until the right turn for the L5065. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
