Kildare County Council are currently completing a new two-storey community centre building at Bawnogues, Brayton Park, Kilcock, Co. Kildare. It is planned to open the facility in August/September this year. 

 

The facility consists of the following;

 

·      Multi Purpose Recreational Hall – size: 28m x 15m

·      2 x changing rooms with 3 toilets and 2 showers in each room

·      1 multi-purpose room – size: 9m x 5m

·      1 x accessible toilet and shower

·      Reception desk and servery

·      Reception and lobby area

 

·      1 multi-purpose room – size: 8m x 3m

·      Projector Room

 

·      4 parking spaces

·      27 bike stands

 

Kildare County Council are now seeking expressions of interest from sporting organisations, clubs, schools and community groups that may be interested in using the facilities. There will be a charge for groups who will be using the facilities. These have yet to be determined. 

 

It is highly advisable that applicants give plenty of time to make their submission. As this is a new online system, it is recommended that submissions are made at least ten days before the closing date. Any applications submitted by hand, post or email will not be considered.

 

Submissions should be made no later than Monday, 24 July 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
