In 2018, following an e-tender process, the Strategic Project and Public Realm Team (KCC) on behalf of Robertstown Community Amenities Association (RCAA) appointed a Design Team lead by Cooney Architects to develop a Masterplan and Delivery/Implementation Strategy for the lands known as the “Robertstown Amenity Lands”, which were acquired by KCC on behalf of RCAA for the benefit of Robertstown village and the wider community. A Steering Committee was set up which worked closely with the community,Strategic Project and Public Realm Team (KCC) and Cooney Architects throughout the preparation of the Draft Masterplan. Following extensive engagement with the Steering Committee and the community of Robertstown, the Masterplan was completed in October 2020.
