At a special meeting on 3rd August 2021, the Members of Athy Municipal District adopted the Athy Local Area Plan 2021 - 2027.
The Athy Local Area Plan 2021 - 2027 will come into effect on 13th September 2021.

The Draft Athy Local Area Plan 2021 - 2027 was on public display from 17th December 2020 - 8th February 2021.
