Notice of Making of Vesting Order Under the Derelict Sites Act, 1990 (as amended).

Notice is hereby given that KILDARE COUNTY COUNCIL (hereinafter referred to as the “Local Authority”) in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by Section 17 and 18 of the Derelict Sites Act 1990 (as amended), has on 05th day of January 2024 made a Vesting Order whereby the derelict site, described in the Schedule hereto will on 15th day of February 2024 VEST in the Local Authority in fee simple free from encumbrances and all estates, rights, titles and interests of whatsoever kind.

And further take notice that a copy of the Vesting Order and a map of the derelict site described in the Schedule hereto has been deposited at Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, County Kildare may be inspected there during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).

Any person who, immediately before the making of the above Vesting Order, had any estate or interest in or right in respect of the derelict site acquired may apply to Kildare County Council, no later than twelve (12) months after the making of the said Vesting Order, for compensation in respect of the estate, interest or right. |
SCHEDULE
Description of the Derelict Site proposed to be acquired
All that and those a derelict site comprising a two-storey, end of terrace residential premises and surrounding land at Leinster Street, Rathangan, County Kildare containing 0.090 hectares or thereabouts. The said property and surrounding land is in a state of dereliction. The said derelict site is more particularly shown outlined in RED on map bearing reference 23-106 and is entered on the Derelict Site Register DS-2018-02 established and maintained by Kildare County Council under Section 8 of the Derelict Site Act 1990 (as amended) being all the property comprised in the Register of Deeds Co. Kildare.
