Kildare County Council announces Community Heritage Grant Scheme 2023
Kildare County Council is inviting applications for the Community Heritage Grant Scheme 2023 from individuals, groups and organisations who are carrying out local heritage projects.
The objective of the scheme is to support innovative approaches and initiatives that link heritage to communities, promote active engagement with heritage and its appreciation by the public.
Funding of up to €1500 is available for individual projects and activities eligible for funding under the Community Heritage Grant Scheme across the areas of heritage management, gathering heritage data, and raising awareness of heritage.
Projects and activities under the fund can relate to many areas of heritage including; monuments; archaeological objects; heritage objects, documents and genealogical records; architectural heritage; flora and fauna; wildlife habitats; landscapes and seascapes; wrecks; geology; heritage gardens; parks and inland waterways.
The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 10th March 2023, 4.00pm.
