New Cathaoirleach appointed for Athy
The Athy Municipal District Committee today appointed Councillor Veralouise Behan as Cathaoirleach and Councillor Mark Leigh as Leas Cathaoirleach of the Municipal District Committee, at their annual meeting which was held in the Athy Municipal District Office, Rathstewart, Athy.
The appointment of new Cathaoirligh, Leas Cathaoirligh, Mayors and Deputy Mayors for the other four Municipal District Committees in Kildare will be made at each of the respective Municipal District meetings throughout July.
