Kildare County Council gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it will close the following roads between Tuesday, 20 June 2023 and Friday, 1 September 2023 to facilitate road maintenance and improvement works.

Alternative Routes: VIA; 1. R417 – L8084 – L8085 2. L8085 – R417 – L8084 Traffic travelling northwards on the L8084 turn left at the junction with the L8085, Plants Crossroads and proceed to the R417. Turn right and proceed along the R417 to the L8084, Levitstown. Traffic travelling on the R417 towards Athy, stay on the R417 to Levitstown, turn right onto the L8084 and proceed to Kilkea, R418. |

Alternative Routes: VIA; 1. R418 – L8077 – R417 2. R417 – L8077 – R418 Traffic travelling on the R418 towards Athy turn left at Grangerosnolvan and proceed through Ballyroe to the R417. Turn left and proceed along the R417 to the L8084, Levitstown. Traffic travelling on the R417 towards Athy, stay on the R417 to Grangemellon Cross, turn right onto the L8077 and proceed through Ballyroe to the R418, turn right to Kilkea, R418. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
