Kildare County Council launches Walk in Clinics to assist businesses with Energy Efficiency Grant applications
Kildare County Council have launched dedicated walk-in clinics to assist Kildare’s Business community with applying for the €10,000 Energy Efficiency Grant, which can be used for a variety of upgrades, including meters, smart energy controls, lighting upgrades to LED, heat recovery, equipment upgrades and much more.
The free walk-in clinics will take place every Friday in November between 10 am and 4pm, in MERITS, Naas (W91 FE8V). No appointments are necessary. With growing interest in energy-efficient upgrades and the availability of substantial grants, many business owners are unsure of where to start, or how to apply. The clinics aim to streamline the application process and provide expert personalised guidance to help business owners access these vital funds.
Jacqui McNabb, Head of Enterprise, Tourism and Economic Development, Kildare County Council said: “The Energy Efficiency Grant supports investment in technologies and equipment, with 75% of eligible costs from a minimum grant of €750 to a maximum of €10,000. We are keen to ensure that as many businesses as possible can avail of this funding opportunity and we are committed to supporting Kildare’s business community to increase their agility and resilience and to operate in a sustainable manner.”
