Curragh Plains Consultation
Kildare County Council in collaboration with the Department of Defence are happy to announce the second phase of consultation on The Curragh Plains.
The Paul Hogarth Company led team has developed a suite of draft policies for the Conservation Management Plan and proposals for the Interpretation and Wayfinding Plan.
These are based around the submissions from the first consultation process, and we would, once again, like your input.
The website can be accessed at www.curraghplains.ie and the consultation information and survey is live until Wednesday, 2 November 2022.
Have your say on the nine proposed policies, including better protection for The Plains, improved infrastructure and enhanced management, with a new Curragh agency and centre proposed in the plan.
Also, have your say on the Draft Interpretation and Wayfinding Strategy; have we captured the uniqueness of The Plains and how this should be presented?
Building on the online consultation platform, we will also be hosting an in-person ‘drop-in’ event at the Curragh Racecourse on Wednesday, 19 October 2022 between 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., so, please come and share your thoughts.
