Kildare County Council gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road from Monday, 12 August 2024 to Friday, 23 August 2024 to facilitate road resurfacing works.

Alternative Routes: Traffic travelling east towards Staplestown should head north on the L1019 Timahoe West, continuing on the L1019 Coologmartin towards Derryvarroge, turning right onto the L1018 Dunmurraghill. Traffic travelling west towards Staplestown should stay on the L1018 Dunmurraghill, turning left onto the L1017 Derryvarogue towards Coologmartin, joining the L1019 Timahoe West. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Transport, Mobility and Open Spaces, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare or directly on the consultation portal at https://consult.kildarecoco.ie/en on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 15 July 2024.
