Kildare County Council gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road from Monday, 26 August 2024 to Friday, 6 September to facilitate road resurfacing works.
The road will be closed nightly from 21:00 hrs to 06:00 hrs.

Alternative Routes: Traffic travelling east should turn left off the R403 onto the L1020 Station Road, continuing on the L1020 until its junction with the R403 at Allenwood Cross. Join the R403 at this point to continue to destination. Traffic travelling west should turn right off the R403 at Allenwood Cross onto the L1020 Station Road, continuing until its junction with the R403. Join the R403 at this point to continue to destination. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Transport, Mobility and Open Spaces, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare or directly on the consultation portal at https://consult.kildarecoco.ie/en on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 15 July 2024.
