Kildare County Council, on behalf of GMC Utilities Group/Uisce Eireann, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it will close the following road on Monday, 12 May 2025 and Tuesday, 13 May 2025 to facilitate a CDS new drinking water connection.

Alternative routes: |
Local access will be maintained at Canal Side junction with Green Alley. Diversion route will be along Duke Street turning left into Canal Side following the road until Convent Lane, getting access into Duke Street again. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
