Kildare County Council, on behalf of The Half Marathon RunAthy event, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it will close the following roads on Sunday, 6 April 2025 to facilitate RunAthy Half Marathon.

Alternative Route: Leinster Street through Athy. Turning right at Grangemellon to the R418 and into Athy. The R417 will have access lane for all estates including Coneyboro to move freely. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
