Kildare County Council on behalf of Kildare Newbridge Municipal District Office, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following roads during the period between Wednesday, 1 March 2023 to Wednesday, 30 August 2023 to facilitate the Maintenance of the road network as per Section 13 of the Roads Act 1993.

Alternative Routes: Northbound traffic will be directed westbound on the R413 passing the Curragh Racecourse and at the junction of the R413/L7027, traffic will be redirected onto the L7027 passing Moorefield GAA Club and finishing back on the L7037. Southbound traffic will be directed off the L7037 onto the L7027 (The road leads to Pollardstown Fen) on the route involves passing Moorefield GAA Club, at the junction of the R413/L7027 turn left onto the R413, the route involves passing the Curragh Racecourse and finishing at the junction of the R413/L7037.

Alternative Routes: Southbound traffic will be directed off the L2028 onto the L6064 at Connellmore Cross. Travel eastward on the L6064 for 1.3km, turning onto the L6063 (Harbour Road) travelling in the direction of Corbally Cross. At Corbally Cross head west on the L2032 in the direction of Athgarvan, finishing at the junction of the L2028 / L2032. Northbound traffic heading towards Newbridge will be directed along the L2032 from the Junction L2028 / L2032 towards Corbally Cross. At Corbally Cross traffic will be directed northbound on the L6063 (Harbour Road) to the junction of the L6063 / L6064. At the L6063 / L6064 Junction turn left heading in a westbound direction on the L6064 finishing at Connellmore Cross to re-join the L2028. |

Alternative Routes: Eastbound traffic in Brannockstown Village head northbound on the R412 to Carnalway Cross, Turn right heading eastbound on the L6048 to Ballymore Eustace Village. In Ballymore Eustace Village at the junction of the L6048 / R411, turn right heading southbound on the R411 into the Market Square. At Market Square turn right staying on the R411 heading in a southbound direction towards the junction of R411 / R413 at Broadleas Common, turning on to the R413 heading westbound to finish at Ardenode Cross. Westbound traffic at Ardenode Cross travel on the R413 towards Ballymore Eustace Village at the junction of the R411 / R413 at Broadleas Common turn left and travel into Ballymore Village on the R411 into Market Square. At Market Square turn left staying on the R411 for 0.4km and at the junction of the R411 / L6048 turning left onto the L6048 and travel westbound to Carnalway Cross. At Carnalway Cross turn left on to the R412 into Brannockstown Village joining the R413 and finishing at the junction of the R412 / R413 Brannockstown Village. |

Alternative Routes: Southbound traffic will be directed off the L7063 and to continue on the L3010 to the junction with the R417 at Crosskeys Cross, turn left and head southbound on the R417 for 1.8km at the junction of the R417 / L7065 at Cush, turn left onto the L7065, and continue on the L7065 to finish at the junction of the L7063 / L7065. Northbound traffic will be directed on the L7065 traveling westbound to the T Junction with the R417 at Cush. Turn right on the R417 heading northbound to Kildangan Village. At Crosskeys Cross in Kildangan Village turn right onto the L3010, finishing at the junction of the L3010 / L7063 at the Our Lady of Victories Church. |

Alternative Routes: Westbound traffic is redirected at Carnalway Cross onto the L6072 to the junction with the R448. Turn left onto the R448 heading towards Kilcullen to finish at the junction of the R448 / L6074. Eastbound traffic is redirected at the junction of the R448 / L6074 northwards in the direction of Naas. At the junction of the R448/L6072 turn on to the L6072 and continue in an eastbound direction finishing at Carnalway Crossroads. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
