Kildare County Council, on behalf of Irish Water, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road from 09:00 a.m. Monday, 3 July 2023 to 04:00 p.m. Friday, 14 July 2023 to facilitate the installation of wastewater pipework.

Alternative Routes: Southbound vehicles will be diverted east along the R408 for approximately 1.2km before being diverted right (south) onto the R407 for approximately 3.5km where they will meet an “END DETOUR” sign. Northbound diversion is the same as the southbound diversion but in reverse. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Transport, Mobility and Open Spaces, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas Co. Kildare or directly on the consultation portal at https://consult.kildarecoco.ie/en on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 12 June 2023.
