Kildare County Council, on behalf of Kildare Newbridge Municipal District Office, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road during the period between Tuesday, 13 June 2023 to Saturday, 30 September 2023 to facilitate the maintenance of the road network as per Section 13 of the Roads Act, 1993.

Alternative Routes: Southbound At the junction of the L7029/L7030 (Maddenstown Cross), head eastbound on the L7030, travelling past Sheshoon Cross and travelling on the L3007. Staying on the L3007, turning right at Brownstown Cross, passing through Suncroft Village and finishing the diversion at the junction. Northbound Travelling northbound from the junction of the L7029/L4002/L3007 on the L3007, passing through Suncroft Village, turning left at Brownstown Cross and heading westbound staying on the L3007. At Sheshoon Cross, travel on the L7030 to finish the diversion at the junction of the L7029/L7030 (Maddenstown Cross). |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Transport, Mobility and Open Spaces, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare or directly on the consultation portal at https://consult.kildarecoco.ie/en on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 22 May 2023.
