Kildare County Council, on behalf of Kildare Newbridge Municipal District Office, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road during the period between Tuesday, 13 June 2023 to Saturday, 30 September 2023 to facilitate the maintenance of the road network as per Section 13 of the Roads Act, 1993.

Alternative Routes: Southbound At the junction of the R445/L3004, continue along the R445 towards Kildare Town to the junction of the R445/R415. At the junction turn right and head southbound towards the junction of the R413/L7024 (Newtown Cross). At this junction turn right onto the L7024 and continue on the L7024 to the junction of the L7024/L3004 where the diversion ends. Northbound At the junction of the L3004/L7024, head eastbound on the L7024 to the junction of the L7024/R415 (Newtown Cross). Turn left and travel northbound towards the junction of the R445/R415. At the junction turn left onto the R445 and head westbound to the junction of the R445/L3004 where the diversion ends. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Transport, Mobility and Open Spaces, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare or directly on the consultation portal at https://consult.kildarecoco.ie/en on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 22 May 2023.
