Kildare County Council, on behalf of Actavo, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road from Tuesday, 24 October 2023 to facilitate the installation of ducting for National Broadband Ireland.

Alternative Routes: Traffic intending to travel southbound on the L1014 will be directed west along the L1014, west along the R157 around Carton Estate and then east along the R148. Traffic intending to travel northbound on the L1014 will be directed to follow the reverse of the above directions. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the A/Senior Executive Officer, Transport, Mobility and Open Spaces, Kildare County Council, Aras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare or directly on the consultation portal at https://consult.kildarecoco.ie/en on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 09 October 2023.
