We are delighted to host author Maria McDonald here in Newbridge Library for the evening, where she will be interviewed and also read from her new novel The Devil’s Own. This event is supported by the County Kildare Decade of Commemorations Committee and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media under the Decade of Centenaries 2012-23 initiative.

The group is for women: expats who relocated to Ireland and returning expats. The library would become a meeting place, to chat, make new friends and share stories - good and bad - about their transition from their native land to their present address. Returning expats are also welcome to share their experiences.

Speech and Language Talks with CAINT Promoting Play Development Play is the main occupation of children and promotes skills such as leaning, language, problem solving, social communication and life skills. This talk will cover the developmental stages of play such as what to expect at each age and stage and also advice on how to promote play development in children.
