Join Jean in Leixlip Library to make a traditional straw Babóg Bhríde, a Brigid’s doll or Brideog. This custom is still practised in some parts of Ireland. The dolls are made on the eve of St. Brigid’s day and then brought around the village or town the next day to welcome the coming of spring.
