Celbridge Historical Society Talk - Runners and Riders:230 years of jump racing in Kildare by Dr Frances Nolan

Frances Nolan is a historian based in UCD. She has published on political, social and gender history. Her latest book, 'National hunt and point-to-point racing in Ireland: a history' is due to appear in September 2025. Her family has had a long association with horse racing in Ireland. Tracing the evolution of national hunt and point-to-point racing in Ireland from the eighteenth century to the present day, her talk will focus on Kildare.
